The Key of David Unveiled

On my recent trip to Myanmar while in my hotel room one afternoon I was asking the Lord to give me an anointing to breakthrough to the people at the conference in a powerful and meaningful way. I heard these words come into my spirit immediately. "You need the key of David." Though I had never studied the key of David, I do recall hearing the phrase before.
I immediately went to my ipad to research what this was about, and to my surprise there is only two passages of scripture that speak of the key of David. Isaiah 22 & Rev. 3:7
This intrigued me even more because that meant that whatever revelation I would receive about the key of David would come directly from the spirit as I could not ascertain any written commentary at that time.
While preaching the next day as I got towards the end of the message I heard the Holy Spirit say use the key of David now! So I began to open doors over the people that would never be shut and shut doors that would never be opened. Upon uttering those words I immediately saw the manifestation in the atmosphere that something shifted and the people began to rejoice as if they received their breakthrough at that very moment. (I will post a picture of it.)
From that time until now I have not been able to shake the need to know more about this prophetic key and its impact upon ministry today.
I will share one point here now. The key of David is the revelation of Royalty unveiled.
The moment that Eliakim (Isa. 22) received the key, there was an associated recognition of royalty attached to the transfer of the key. In other words, anyone possessing the key of David (the master key to the royal palace) is automatically connected to all the royalty of the kingdom. This royalty should be viewed from this perspective: authority, dominion and sovereignty. Because of Eliakim's character and humility as a servant, G-d transfers to him great responsibility of the kingdom. He now has the only key to the palace thus meaning that any door he shut would remain shut and any door he opened would remain open.
The implications of such a key is not just authority and dominion but also sovereignty. This means that whoever possesses the key cannot be questioned or debated as to why they do what they do. This is awesome in context that G-d would entrust one with such a key that they would also walk in sovereignty over the affairs of the kingdom.
The power and dominion that the body of Christ should be walking in today is such that we should be able to command the kingdom to open and to shut according to the word of our mouth by the authority of our King!
Royalty is nothing to take lightly. To be associated with or aligned with royalty is to be positioned uniquely in the earth to accomplish unusual task on behalf of the King.
This is the key that Revelation says that Jesus the Christ possesses and this is the key I believe we must gain understanding from in order to execute the work of the kingdom effectively.
Look for more on the key of David in the coming days....this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The revelation continues this and every Saturday at The Worship Center - NYC from 10AM - 12Noon at 362 West 125th in Harlem New York.
